4-6 Learning Community News

We have had a great start to the term in the 4-6 community. In Maths, the students have been working on their multiplication strategies and in STEM, investigating how forces can move objects in our environment. During Literacy sessions students have been developing their comprehension skills and practicing their fluency when reading. Writing procedures and reports has been our writing focus and the students have been producing some fantastic pieces of work!

Parent Information Session on Seesaw

Next Thursday, 2nd August @ 3.45pm Mark, our ICT Manager, will present a Parent Information Session in the 4-6 Learning Community about Seesaw. Seesaw is an online platform that is used to showcase student learning and the 4-6 community would like to share how we plan to use this fantastic resource with parents. The 4-6 teachers would like to invite parents to come into the community after school for a brief chat and to help sign you up to Seesaw. Looking forward to seeing you there!
