Prep Learning Community News

Welcome back Prep families, to Term 3! We hope you all had an enjoyable and safe mid-year break!

The Prep Learning Community are delighted to welcome Esther to our team. Esther will be working across the Prep Learning Community for the remainder of the year. Please make her feel welcome and feel free to introduce yourselves to her. We are lucky to have her join the team.

We have welcomed a number of new students into our learning community throughout this year. These students are Florence, Noah T, Shayla, Theo, Marley and Millicent. We hope you are enjoying being a part of the prep community and are getting to know your classmates!

This term we are focusing on ‘Push and Pull’ as our Inquiry focus. We will be investigating the way objects move depending on a variety of factors including their size and shape. Over the next three weeks, our Literacy Workshops will be focusing on Non-Fiction texts. We encourage you to talk to your children about facts and the difference between what is real and what is made up.

During Numeracy, we will be focusing on patterns, counting on and addition. It would be great if you could please take time to find real world examples for students to apply their knowledge of these.
