Preps Celebrating 100 Days of School - what a milestone!
A big thank you to Jannine, Hazel and Marilyn our Prep Teachers for making last Friday a memorable one for our Prep students. Thankyou to all our teachers for organising activities for all students to enjoy.

Snack Attack in LC3
On Thursday the 1st of August LC3 had an incursion from Snack Attack where they learned about the healthy plate and the amounts of fruit, vegetables, treats and proteins that need to be eaten on a daily basis from Lisa the nutritionist. The students had the opportunity to identify and categorise red light food, amber food and green foods. Lisa explained to the students that they need to have a balanced diet from all areas of the healthy plate. The students also engaged in a blindfolded fruit tasting where they had to guess what fruit they were given, which they all enjoyed and had the chance to try fruits they may not have tried before!

STEM Showcase at the Zoo
Well done to the 7 students who represented OLSC at the STEM showcase at the Werribee Zoo. They students showed their prototypes to Zoo staff, Toyota community fund members and the general public. Students were able to talk about their problem and the prototype that they came up with. Well done to all the students and Bec and Hayley for all the hard work that went into the day.
Senior Hooptime
On Wednesday the 7th of August 32 of our senior students participated in Hooptime at Eagle stadium, with Michelle, Augustino and Hayley. The teams competed against St James's, Good News, Heathdale Christian College and St Andrews. Students played 4 games, where they displayed their basketball skills, they represented the school with pride and sportsmanship. Well done to all who competed.
