Sr Margot Crowther RSCJ passed away 3 March 2020

We are sad to share the news of Sr Margot's passing. She was at Sacré Cœur  in the 1960s and then taught at Kincoppal for many years. Sr Margot returned to Melbourne and lived in the cottage at the school as a much loved member of the Barat community from 2009 - 2017.

She lived an extraordinary life of service, teaching in Africa for nineteen years - 14 in Uganda and 5 in Kenya. This was followed by time teaching in Bougainville. In  Blackall, Queensland she helped to establish a small outpost of the Society.

A memorial service will be held at a future date to celebrate Sr Margot's life and we will have an extended tribute in the Burke Road Bulletin.
