News

As we end our 2018 school year, I would like to take the opportunity to sincerely thank all members of our school community for actively supporting our school and being active participants, engaged in your child’s learning and development.

This year at WPS we are extremely proud of the many things we have achieved as a school. We feel we have absolute clarity about our vision for the school and our goals.  It has been an exciting year with our building works and we look forward to the completion of the project early in the new year. Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout the project this year.

Mostly thank you to the regular, honest and constructive feedback. This feedback is valued and helps us to strive towards ongoing and continuous improvement. Thank you also to the many, many people who have called in or sent emails to offer positive feedback about the direction of our school. Much of the feedback has described us as being ‘progressive”.

On behalf of all our staff I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a safe holiday season and we look forward to continuing to work with you next year.

Best wishes to our graduating students and other students and families that are moving on.

Graduation

This week I had the pleasure of being at Graduation with our Year 6 students. It was with absolute pride that I was able to talk about the achievements of this cohort of students and their role in developing our new school values and making our school more culturally inclusive.

I wish all of our students well in their future endeavours.

Leave your Mark

I would like to thank Ms Mann and our Year 6 students for their work on this years’ Leave your Mark’ project. It is a stunning addition to our school and reflects our focus on cultural inclusion.

Please pop in and have a look. You will find it on the wall outside the Multi purpose Hall.
