Community Spirit and Leadership Award

Each year we look for a Year 3-6 student who has demonstrated Community Spirit and Leadership.

Congratulations to Lachlan Derix for receiving the Community Spirit and Leadership Award presented by Mr Anthony Byrne MP. Lachlan received this award for his initiative, leadership and ongoing commitment to Lids For Kids to raise awareness and collect lids for the Enabling the Future organization, who use the lids to create 3D printed bespoke aids for children.

Lachlan's initiative has seen huge momentum with thousands of lids being collected and sorted each week. The community supported Lachlan and now people in the wider community are donating lids to St Therese's school for this cause.
