From the Principal...

Dear Parents and Friends of St Therese's School,

‘I will send my messenger ahead of you,

who will prepare your way before you.' (Matthew 11:10)

This week, we celebrate the third week of Advent. As we light the third pink candle, we pray for JOY.

God our Father, we thank you for this time of joyful waiting. May the hope and joy of this season fill our hearts and make us living signs of your love for a world that hungers for your peace. We make this prayer to you through Christ our Lord. Amen. And may Almighty God bless us: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen

Year 6 Graduation

Congratulations to our Year Six students who celebrated completing their Primary School years. It was a lovely night. Thanks to Father Antony for leading the Mass and to all the staff who assisted with the decorations, especially Donna Weare for the graduation cake and Vanessa for coordinating the set up of the Hall. Thanks also to Mrs Lloyd, Mrs Hancock and Miss Griffiths for preparing the students.

Congratulations to Phil, Bessy and Sneha who were recipients of the Tom and Betty Scholarship for 2019.

We wish each of the Year Six students the very best as they transition to their secondary schools and hope that they always remember the words of our patron saint, 'Do all that you do with love', Saint Therese of Lisieux

Walk for the Well

Late last year, we participated in a fundraising event to raise money to build a well at our sister's school in Nigeria. The following is a Christmas card from Sister Grace

The Principal, Staff, Pupils and Parents

Just a quick word to express Christmas greetings from me, Nativity Private Nursery/Primary School to you. Our prayer for you is that you experience the joy, peace and love the Lord Jesus brings you this Christmas and always wish you a prosperous and peaceful New Year. We remain indebted to you always. Love Sister Grace.

PS Just to inform you that we are already enjoying the supply of very good water and the work will soon be completed fully. We shall give you feedback as soon as we are done. Thank you so much and God Bless You All.

Please enjoy these photos of the children from Nativity Private Nursery/Primary School and a letter written by one of the senior students.

Thank You

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of St Therese's Primary School. Their commitment and dedication are what makes St Therese's the great school that it is. Admin officers, teachers, education support officers, and maintenance personal have all contributed to the smooth running of the school.

I would especially like to thank Ms Meegan Blackney who has been a terrific support to me in her role as Acting Deputy Principal. Meegan has worked tirelessly along with Trish Lloyd and Rosie Osthmuller who have been a dynamic Leadership Team. I look forward to working with them again next year as we enact the School Improvement Plan that has been developed over the past 12 months.

Last Day - Thursday 19th December at 1:30pm

Don't forget the students' last day is Thursday 19th December at 1:30pm.

School resumes for all students on Thursday 30th January.

I hope you all have a safe and happy holidays.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

God Bless
