Cricket Gala Day - “What a catch that was!”

Last Thursday 24 October, three Senior St Joseph’s teams travelled to Thomas Dalton Park Fairy Meadow to participate in the 2019 cricket gala day. Each team played 6 games and enjoyed learning about this enjoyable sport. A highlight of the day was playing cricket with friends and learning the rules and skills of the game. Many Habits of Mind were used to reach success like striving for accuracy and persisting. Thanks to Mrs Smith, the parent managers (Mr Donnelly, Mrs DeSantis and Mr Rowney) and the NSW Sydney Thunder Cricket members for making this day possible; it was incredible!
