Australian Army Band Concert

This week we are looking forward to taking our Junior Concert Band and students in Years 4-6 learning a band instrument the opportunity to attend a performance by the Australian Army Band. This will be a wonderful way to kick off the year and inspire our band musicians and look forward to sharing some details and photos from the event in the next newsletter. 

Absence from Ensemble Rehearsals

As a courtesy to our ensemble directors, please ensure any planned absences are emailed to performingarts@kws.nsw.edu so they can be passed on to the relevant director. We understand booking appointments can be a logistical battle for families, but we do appreciate it if rehearsal times can be avoided where possible. 

Playing an Instrument

This is video that we reference a lot (for good reason), but it shows just how good music really is for our brains, just in case we needed reminding!
