Parents & Friends Committee Update

From Parents and Friends Committee
Welcome to the new year!
What is the P&F?
Some of you may be wondering, who are P&F? We are a group of parents, carers, and family volunteers who organise fundraising and social activities that bring our school community together. Anyone who cares about our school and is willing to help out with, or lead activities and events, can join Parents and Friends. Meetings are held at least monthly from 7.30 pm Attendance is not compulsory as Minutes of each meeting are emailed.
Our school website is full of up-to-date information about all areas of our school. This page gives you an overview of Parents & Friends and in this pull-down menu lots of news and community activities.
New members and ideas are always welcome!

Seeking parent class representatives
Do you believe in connection and community?
The Parents and Friends (P&F) Committee is seeking 1-2 parent/carer representatives for each class. This role is flexible and informal and aims to connect the children and families in a class through occasional social activities outside school and by creating a way for families to stay in touch, such as a WhatsApp group. Parent 'reps' also provide the Parents and Friends Committee with a ‘grape vine’ within the school to share information and call for volunteers. If you would like to volunteer (or already have this set up for your class) please text your name, email address, child’s first name, and class to Lucy Bond on 0400 223 113.
