GOULBURN MURRAY SWIMMING TRIALS

Tomorrow 8 of our students are competing in the GM Swimming Trials. Thank you to Kevin Moran for being the coordinator once again. We hope everyone has a great day. 

ASSEMBLY

Assembly takes place each Monday in the amphitheatre at 2.45pm, weather permitting. Grade 2 students treated us to a creative weather report on Monday. Next week the Grade 5 students are performing a song.  Parents are welcome to attend in line with COVIDSafe practices. (Mask wearing if you can’t socially distance, required vaccination status)

SMILING MINDS

Amee and I are completing the Smiling Minds six week course called Mindful Champions. This course has been developed for primary educators to understand and champion the integration of Smiling Mind’s mindfulness-based social and emotional learning (SEL) into the learning and culture of primary schools, enabling the development of positive mental health and wellbeing of students, educators, and the broader school community. So far, we have been extremely impressed with the benefits this program could offer our students and staff. Many of our classroom already use several of the strategies.
