Mental Health Practitioners

Greater Shepparton Secondary College is excited to be part of the Mental Health Practitioners initiative. This initiative supports our college to recruit mental health practitioners.

Mental Health Practitioners provide direct counselling support and other early intervention services for individual students identified as at-risk and/or experiencing or demonstrating mild to moderate mental health needs.

GSSC is fortunate to have recruited two excellent Mental Health Practitioners – Narelle Pell and Lay Napier. Narelle and Lay will make a positive contribution to supporting student wellbeing within the college.

Students and parents are advised to contact their House Wellbeing Support Member or Robyn McCully, Wellbeing Services Leader if they would like to discuss their child’s suitability to engage with the service.   Please note, referral and consent documentation will be required prior to service commencement. There is no cost to the student or family to access this service.
