MERCY CAMPUS

DROP OFF AND PICK UP AT MERCY CAMPUS

There has been an increasing number of students running across Riverside Avenue to meet parents. This is a dangerous situation and puts students at risk.

For your child's safety, parents are reminded to enter the Mercy Campus grounds from the Eleventh Street gate and depart via the Riverside Avenue gate. This is a one way entry and exit, and the speed limit for the car park is 10km.

GRAMPIANS CAMP

Planning for the Year 8 camp to the Grampians is well underway. Please complete the parent permission via your student’s PAM account if you haven't already. Please do this even if your child is not intending on joining us.

Ensure you note any medical or dietary information when completing the permission.

In preparation, I suggest that as winter clothing becomes available, you start looking for some essential items…in particular a lightweight waterproof jacket and good waterproof walking shoes.

Your child should have completed their group selection. Each student needs to list the names of up to six other students they would like to share a room with. Room groups will then be completed using this information, and this is also used for the day groups. This must be done to ensure that students get the most out of the camp experience.

If you would like to arrange a meeting to discuss any requirements for your child while on camp, please email me so we can make a time and get these meetings underway.

BIKE EDUCATION

Year 8 students enjoyed discovering their skills during their latest bike education class.
