Year 7-9 Sector 

Year 7 Update:

Year 7s have made a great start to the new school year. It has been amazing to see the smooth transition from new and existing students from Year 6 into Year 7 at Brookside College! A big thank you to the cohort for making our start to the term a positive one as well as being so resilient as you adjust to the new year. After our start up program, it has been great to see each of our classrooms come to life with colour and displays. A big shout out to 7D whose homeroom is a stand out with their creativeness and colour with their Belonging Wall.

Next week we will start our first cohort games on Thursday during lunchtime. This is a great opportunity for students in Year 7 to participate or support their homeroom in the games. Our cohort champion trophy will be awarded at the end of term for the overall homeroom winner!

Everyone is looking forward to all that is to come this year including Year 7 camp. Year 7s will head off to camp on the 22nd of June with many exciting activities including mountain bike riding, flying fox, rock climbing and archery. More information to come!
