  • all parents who transported their children to and from the venue and supported all our students during the competition. You were a fantastic Cheer Squad.
  • Kellie Burridge, who recorded results and made sure students marshalled at the correct time.
  • Lara Squires, who has her Bronze Medallion (swimming qualification) to ensure the students can train on a Monday and Wednesday Morning.

HOUSE CROSS COUNTRY – THURSDAY 31ST MARCH (School)

A reminder that the House Cross Country Carnival will be held on Thursday 31st March. It has been wonderful to see so many children take up the opportunity to train on a Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Just a few reminders:

  • Students who wish to be considered for the school team MUST run in their age group race.
  • Students are encouraged to wear a House Coloured T-shirt on the day.
  • Spare socks, shoes and clothing should be brought in case of wet weather.
  • Once again, parent help is greatly appreciated. Please return the Parent Helper slip if you are able to assist on the day.
  • It is never too late to join running club. Students must return the consent form prior to their participation.

HOUSE ATHLETICS FOR YEARS 3 – 6: WEDNESDAY 6th April (Ballam Park)

A reminder that the House Athletics Carnival will be held on the last Wednesday of term; all consent forms and payment should be received by Monday 21st March. Please contact the Finance Office if payment and forms cannot be returned by the due date.

Just a few pointers and suggestions to assist parents with student preparation:

  • Students are encouraged to dress in their House Colours; school uniform if students don’t have suitable clothing in their House Colours. House Bibs will be provided for those students.
  • Students can spray their hair with house coloured hair spray, but this must be done at home.
  • Footwear – runners
  • Slip, slop slap – students to wear school hat (unless they have a broad-rimmed hat in house colours) and sunscreen.
  • Small back pack – containing their snack, lunch and a drink bottle.  Water is most suitable.
  • Asthmatics – if your child is an asthmatic, make sure they carry their ‘puffer’

Parent Helpers for the day are still required. Please send a note with your child if you are able to help on the day.
