Bee-Bot Fun in P-2

Last week I ran the final introductory sessions with students in Miss Anderson's Year 1/2 class. The students had already heard of the Bee-Bots from their classmates so they were eager to jump in and have a go.

The students quickly learnt how to operate the Bee-Bots and how to create an algorithm that the Bee-Bot would carry out. It will be great to continue the learning around coding and programming next term.

Safe Search Engines

Here are some search engines that are kid-friendly and that filter out a lot of inappropriate content that may pop up when searching online. Consider setting one of these as your home page so that your children get used to doing their homework, assignments and searching through these instead.
