Principal Report

What a fantastic year 2018 has been. There have been many highlights for staff, students and parents with the success of the  Colour Run, Dance Production, PFA Trivia Evening, Rob Vingehoets Maths Evening, Resilience Project Workshops and commencement of the artificial turf oval just to name a few.

We have watched our 187 Prep students begin their learning journey and flourish as the year has progressed. I think a most memorable moment is when the pirate ship playground floods and creates a natural body of water around the popular pirate ship for them to play in, much to the distress of the classroom teachers.

Our 129 Year 6 students have come to the end of their Oatlands journey and we feel they are well prepared and ready to move into the next phase of their education. We wish them all the very best for 2019 and the future.

We are grateful to our dedicated staff who work tirelessly to ensure our students are catered for, engaged and challenged with their learning as well as offering support, guidance and care throughout the year to the kids in their care.

This year we bid farewell to the following teachers; Joanna Crowther, Carly Bourke and Katherine Arnold, Lisa Scotti and Educational Support Staff member Lizzy Burke. We wish them all the best with their future endeavours.

We would also like to welcome back; Melissa Osborne, Jess Ohis, Nicole Lamb, Jess Hodsman, Jody Freer and Danielle Dalton.

To our parent community we thank you for your continued support and hope you and your families have a fabulous break. To those of you who celebrate Christmas we hope it's a merry one and we look forward to seeing you all in the new year.
