Spotlight on Prep (Foundation)

This Term in Foundation we have been focusing on being a good friend! We have been trying to ‘fill each others buckets’ by using kind words and actions. We now have a Good Choices Board which we are all trying hard to get onto by making good decisions inside and outside the classroom.

We have been learning about Capacity this term. We used water, sand and measuring cups to measure how many cups different containers could hold. We loved testing our predictions and trying to save the duck from down the hole. 

The Foundation Students have been learning about People who help us in our Community.  We have had a number of guest speakers and even went to visit a Fire Station.  We are now learning about all the people in our Faith Community who help others like St Mary of the Cross and Mother Teresa.
