Coffee with the Principal

Please join me next Friday November 1st at 2.30pm in the staff room for coffee and an opportunity for me to share stage 1 of our school building Masterplan with you. I'm seeking your feedback, ideas and thoughts as we plan for the future educational opportunities and community needs for all people at St Anthony's. I look forward to seeing many of you and having the opportunity to share visual images of planning to date so you can spread the news!

We welcome new families

A very big welcome to all new a current prep families who filled the Prep space on Tuesday night. It was wonderful to meet with  all parents and carers again and sign everyone up to our 2020 Prep Dojo group. Everyone is now connected and can share our school story events and news. Welcome to our community.

Welcome to week 4 and 5

Dear Parents, What a beautiful beginning to Term 4 with so much spring weather in the air and the promise of sunny days to come. This is the time of year where we are well and truly in the planning process for 2020. It is often a difficult thing to do; have your head thinking of a new year when the present one is still so significantly happening around you.

I'd like to congratulate all of our children and educators for their continued efforts with Walktober over the past few weeks. I've loved walking alongside the children on many mornings and hearing about their news and wonderings. It is a lovely way to start the day.  It was terrific to see our story in the paper again. Thanks to Lisa and the community team for ensuring this newsworthy event was captured so well. We will finish with a shared healthy breakfast at the end of October.

Planning is well under way for a brand new Christmas Carnival in partnership with the Parish. This will take place on Saturday December the 7th. Please save the date as this event will finish with our annual Christmas paraliturgy on the oval with all children singing carols (we even hope to have a stage set up). We will be inviting you to bring along a picnic blanket and there will be many food stalls for you to order a picnic dinner. We will share more details with you very soon.

As always if you have any feedback, ideas or you need any assistance at all with anything, you are always welcome to see me. I look forward to seeing many for coffee and chats on Friday November 1st.

God Bless,

Patrika Rowley
