Forte Festival 2019

When:

1. Sunday 24 November (Jungle Music, Music is Fun and ensemble performances by Junior Keys & Piano Keys students)

2. Sunday 1 December (Solo/duet performances by private students) Sunday 1 December

We will be running three concerts over two separate days to avoid the audience sitting through endless hours of performances!

Note: participation forms will be handed out during the 2nd week of Term 4

This year marks our 5th annual Forte Festival! The Forte Festival is the biggest celebration of our students’ progress and is a great opportunity for every student to perform in front of an audience. Students will be working hard all of next term towards their performance. The Forte Festival aims to help students develop confidence in performing through providing them with a warm and supportive environment.

Here's what is planned …

Jungle Music students

Your concert will be based on selected songs we have learnt this semester relating to the “Knock knock” theme. 

Music is Fun students

The concert is going to be based on a pantomime with a lead character who will take the children on a magical adventure, meeting various characters along the way. Your child will be part of the story. It is an interactive concert where children will be asked to solve riddles and answer questions to help the lead character solve problems along the journey. 

Junior Keys, Piano Keys & Creative Keys students

Students will have the opportunity to play together at the keyboards.

Private students

Private piano students will play on a beautiful grand piano at the Australian Piano Warehouse. Instrumentalists and vocalists will also be performing at the same venue.
