STEAM Expo

On Tuesday St Edward's families had the opportunity to put on their Science and Engineering hats and experience a sampling of the many STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) activities on offer at our school. This Expo showcased the variety of technological equipment recently purchased to enhance our students creativity and digital literacy. A selection of talented students demonstrated the many educational applications of this equipment. 

Parents and children participated in a digital scavenger hunt and had the opportunity to paint with spheros, virtually,  explore the human body, print in 3D, create working circuits and try their hand at computer coding. A variety of non-tech hands on engineering challenges were also on offer for guests. 

We were overwhelmed with the positive response and would like to thank the amazing Andy Lockwood for her enormous effort in co-ordinating the entire event. A great time was had by all.
