Principal's Report

The United Nation’s World Health Organisation fear that by 2030, depression will be the biggest cause of disease in the world.  Hence College has gone beyond the grade to ensure that ‘student well-being’ remains high on our list of priorities.  Our whole school approach aspires to provide every child with a safe environment; a strong sense of belonging, engagement in the classroom and a deeper understanding of social and emotional issues.  Programmes like Headstrong, Biteback, SenseAvailability and the Resourceful Adolescent Programme make all the difference to our effectiveness.  Take the time to explore any one or all four resources as we work in partnership to ensure our children are not one of the statistics feared above.

 

Finally, a reminder to have your say and take fifteen minutes to reflect on the College’s past, present and future!  Parent surveys will remain open until Friday 9th September.  Please note there are differences between Myrniong and the Senior Campus surveys.  Below is the link for each:
