Although it may feel like we are in the depths of winter, the frivolity of our Spring Dinner is just around the corner.  As you all know, the Spring Dinner is our major fundraiser of the year, with the silent auction being a tremendous contributor to our fundraising as well as to the buzz, electricity and jovial competitiveness of the night, with numerous lots enjoying fierce competition by bidders.

 

Whilst our silent auction always hosts a variety of fabulous items and experiences we are always on the lookout for unique, one-of-a-kind auction items to provide you with the best variety of options to choose from. Think autographed memorabilia, unique experiences, fantastic destination holiday packages for various locations around the world, wine tasting, deep sea fishing, VIP access to sporting events and concerts, chef masterclasses and luxury car rental!  The list doesn’t need to stop there. This year we are seeking to source new and exciting items to really WOW all our guests.

 

All proceeds from our Spring Dinner go directly to the School and make a real difference to our ability to offer an educational experience of extraordinary quality and diversity. Every donation, no matter the size, can make a positive and meaningful difference. 

 

We are now accepting contributions to the Silent Auction.  Here are some ways in which you can help:

  1. Donate an item or ask a retailer for a donation – cafe or restaurant vouchers; food and wine to go into hampers; holiday house weekends; homewares; memorabilia; artwork, photography etc.
  2. Volunteer your professional service or seek a donation – music lessons; kids' parties and activities; handyman, interior design or architectural services; masseuse/masseur services; financial planning, personal training, hair and beauty etc.
  3. Ask friends or family for a donation - perhaps you know someone who might want to increase their reach or a business that is always keen to help local fundraising events. Maybe you have a friend who has a skill or passion that can be put to good use. Please let them know we are seeking items for our silent auction.
  4. Make a cash donation -  this will allow the purchase of silent auction items on your behalf.

We were thrilled with last year's donations of holiday houses, fine jewellery, furniture and numerous vouchers and hampers.  Let’s rally together and see what wonderful surprises we can source this year.
