Cultural Presentation Night Performance

We are so proud of our deadly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who participated in our opening performance at our Presentation Night on Tuesday 6th December.

St Edward’s School Tamworth - 2023 Schedule of Fees & Levies

School fees PER TERM (Terms 1, 2 & 3 only) for 2023 are:  

·         1 child                        $482.00 

·         2 children                  $867.60   (20% discount child 2)

·         3 or more children  $1108.60 (50% discount child 3)

 

School fees ANNUAL for 2023 are:

·         1 child                        $1446.00 

·         2 children                  $2602.80  (20% discount child 2)

·         3 or more children  $3325.80  (50% discount child 3)

 

2023 Sport & School Activity Levy per child is:

Primary Students            $70.00 per student

Infants Students              $50.00 per student

 

St Edward’s Sport & School Activity Levy (SASA Levy) covers the cost of sport activities and extracurricular activities that students participate in and is in addition to School Fees.

Important!  New announcement of $500 NSW Services Voucher

On 5 December 2022 the NSW Government made a new announcement about the $500 NSW Service Vouchers.  There are some new features / benefits for families that: 

1)  Did not download the $500 Voucher by 30 September 2022 or 

2)  Children who were not eligible will now become eligible.

Families with children aged 4 to 13 years that attend a Primary School in NSW can receive a $500 voucher per child to reduce the out-of-pocket costs of before and after school care. 

This includes children who are starting kindergarten in 2023

 

A voucher can be:

  • redeemed with a before and after school care provider until 31 January 2023 (voucher credit can be used for services until 30 June 2023)
  • used on any weekday during the school term, or on days of the week when vacation care is provided during the redemption period.

You can apply for a voucher until 31 January 2023 for each eligible child online or at a Service NSW Centre.

 

Note: If you applied for a voucher for a child from February to September 2022, you cannot apply for another voucher for the same child from December 2022 to 31 January 2023.

Year 6 Student School Report Advice for Parents and Carers - Important Information

Your Year 6 child's Compass Portal will close on the last day of this term, Friday 16th December. If your child is NOT attending a Catholic High School in 2023, we recommend that you download ALL school reports to your own device for future reference. You will not be able to access their Portal Page after the 16th December 2022. Semester Two reports will be open to parents on Thursday 8th December after 3.00pm.  However you can download all current school reports any time now.

Student Drink Bottles

With a spike in warmer temperatures it is important that all students arrive at school each day with a drink bottle to remain well hydrated. We ask parents to please check and ensure that your children have a water bottle in their school bag daily. Thank you for your continued support.

2024 Kindergarten Enrolments - ENROL NOW

Applications for Kindergarten 2024 are NOW OPEN. Please contact the Infants Campus for an enrolment pack. Enrolment Forms will not be processed until all supporting documents are received: Birth Certificate; Immunisation Certificate; Baptismal Certificate (only required if your child is baptised Catholic) and proof of student’s residential address. Please spread the word if you know of anyone with a child wishing to start at St Edward's School in Kindergarten in 2024.

Leaving or Relocating??

Planning for the 2023 school year is well underway. Over the coming weeks we will be placing students in classes for 2023.  If your child is currently in K – Year 5 and you will NOT be returning to St Edward’s in 2023, please let the school know in writing as soon as possible. Thank you to the families who have already notified the school regarding changes for 2023.

Esteem Kids

Before school care is available in the Infants Hall.  It operates from 7:00am to 8:30am, Monday through Friday during term and breakfast is provided. After school care is also available in the Infants Hall from 3:00pm to 6:00pm Monday through Friday and afternoon tea is provided.
