We begin the year with our highly anticipated Nossal tradition, the “Valentine’s Day Sale”. In previous years, this fundraiser has exemplified Nossal’s unified school culture. Through various SRC events throughout the year, the Nossal community has always proven its endless generosity and compassion. This Valentine’s Day, we shift our focus on celebrating and sharing our gratitude and adoration to those we have built memorable bonds with, through the SRC’s roses and serenade services. The council has tirelessly worked to organise and provide an unforgettable day for the community, and we hope it is an event that brings a smile to everyone’s faces!

Every year, the SRC seeks to increase student voice and agency through engaging whole-school events. All the past SRC fundraisers have been donated towards a good cause to multiple charities. Our past work has also implemented new policy changers, improved facilities and study environments, led by suggestions by the student body. An example would be the newly installed volleyball nets which we have recently brought to life. Future events such as free-dress days and the upcoming World’s Greatest Shave, not only encourages the student body to support and donate to valuable causes, but it also strengthens Nossal together as a community. Here’s to another great eventful year with the Nossal SRC- we couldn’t be prouder to represent a better school community!
