Careers Update
Year 9 Course Information
Dear Student/Parent/Guardian,
Last week, Year 8 students attended a pathways assembly where they received an overview of the 2024 Year 9 course requirements. In upcoming weeks, students will receive additional information and support during extended Home Group, through the delivery of pathways curriculum.
It is also important to note that students also received their copy of the Year 9 Course Information Booklet during Mini Home Group on Friday. This document is designed to help students prepare and start considering their subject choices for 2024. Specifically, it provides the necessary information needed to help them explore and decide which subjects they wish to study in Year 9. You can download a copy of this booklet via the EMC Careers website https://www.emccareers.com.au/important-information/course-selection.
Please take the time to review and discuss with your student the potential subjects they may like to undertake.
Students will complete their final subject selections ONLINE during Extended Home Group on Thursday 17th August.
Please contact us if you need further information or assistance.
Kind Regards,
EMC Careers Team
