2nd Hand Uniform News - Donation Bin

We are pleased to inform our school community that we now have a 2nd Hand Uniform Donation Bin, located in the Library.

The blue bin is the best place to donate any good condition, washed and folded school uniforms and accessories. Please only donate good condition new style school bags with working zips. We unfortunately can no longer accept the old style school bags.

Upcoming P&F Meeting Dates - All Welcome!

Being involved with the P&F is a wonderful way to meet other members of the Ormond PS community. We are fortunate to have a strong Parents and Friends Association, which helps run events at the school that foster a sense of belonging and community, while also raising much needed funds for the school.

We meet in the Staff Room at 7:30pm. Please feel free to come and join a meeting on the following dates:

1 August
5 September
3 October
14 November (due to Cup Day)
5 December

P+F's annual Parent Event will be held on Saturday 26 August at 7pm, at Sonder Private Function Room.

Enjoy a night Bold in Gold with our Gold theme party where canapes will be served and a drink upon arrival for $50 per person. There will be prizes for best costumes!

Online Auction

In preparation for our Gold Party, P+F are putting out a call school families to see if you, your family or friends have a business and may like to donate an item or service to be used as a raffle or auction item. Some ideas below are:

Golf day experiences (anyone a member of a golf club?)
Weekend escapes (anyone own a holiday house?)
Food (anyone manage a restaurant/cafe?)
Wine (anyone have winery connections?)
Sporting / Entertainment experiences (anyone work for a sporting club or entertainment venue?)

Businesses involved in making a donation will be acknowledged and promoted in the school newsletter and OPS Social Media platforms. Please put your thinking caps on about who may be able to assist and let's make this fundraising event a big one! If you have any questions please contact p.and.f.ormond@gmail.com.

We are always looking for new fundraising ideas and would love your input! You might have some great examples of fundraising or events at other schools that you would like to share with us. Perhaps you have specialist skills and you are willing to donate your time – we are always looking for people with fundraising or events experience, people who have graphic design skills and social media specialists.
