Teaching and Learning in ART

Term 2 in the Art Room

This term in the Art Room LPS students have explored line, shape, landscapes and folk art, and have created our own Heather Galler inspired flowers and Australian landscapes. We took a moment to learn about National Reconciliation Week and created a whole school piece of work.

Year 1 and 2

This term Year 1 and 2 students used markers, crayons and paint to create folk art inspired flowers in a vase. These will be displayed in the senior building next term.

Year 3 and 4

Year 3 and 4 students have explored the unique colours of the Australian landscape. Focusing on the layering of objects and the use of a horizon line to create the perspective of distance.

Year 5 and 6

Using water colour, collage and markers Preps made the monsters colourful and

These will be displayed in the Prep building next term for everyone to see.
