Fundraise Friday
This Friday, alongside the the MND Big Freeze Day, we will also be celebrating the end of the Staff Push-Up Challenge. Many of the St Xavier's Staff have committed to the challenge to raise awareness of Mental Health. To mark the end of our 23 days of push-ups, students will be able to wear "house colour" clothes. We will also be having a coin trail if students would like to donate. Please see the above flyer for details.
We at St Xavier's are taking the plunge to help freeze MND (Motor Neurone Disease) by trying to fundraise $500. Some of our amazing staff have agreed to "take the plunge" on Friday 23rd June. Students will be able to purchase hot chocolates for $2.00.Funds raised go to FightMND who funds vital research to help find a cure for MND. FightMND is Australia's largest funder of MND research determined to find an effective treatment and ultimately a cure for Motor Neurone Disease. Please help us by making a donation through our page.

Make Music Day
Today we celebrated Make Music Day Australia. During morning tea and lunch, our very talented musical students were invited to perform in front of their peers.
Make Music Day has grown as a global celebration of music making across more than 1000 cities around the world.
It all started 40 years ago in France. In 1982, Jack Lang and his staff at the Ministry of Culture dreamed up an idea for a new kind of musical holiday. They imagined a day where FREE music would be everywhere, all around the city: street corners, parks, rooftops, gardens, and store fronts. 2022 was Fete de la Musique’s 40th Anniversary!
Make Music Day is presented in Australia by the Australian Music Association and the NAMM Foundation.
Suessical Jr the Musical
We are very excited to announce that we will be having a school musical this year and our cast has been finalised! Other than these major roles, all classes will be involved in some way.....we will keep you posted!
