Physical Education Sessions:

During this term's Physical Education (PE) sessions, we have a continued focus on essential fundamental skills such as throwing, catching, kicking, and movement for students in Foundation to Level 2. Additionally, our Level 3-6 students will have the opportunity to explore sports like Australian Rules Football and Lacrosse. For the Level 3-6 students, we will continue to emphasise the development of game sense through engaging team games. Our focus will be on understanding and adhering to rules, demonstrating leadership skills, and fostering a sense of teamwork among the students.

Victorian State Cross Country:

Congratulations to Collette C who participated in the Victorian State Cross Country Final last Thursday on the 13th of July. Collette's exceptional performance throughout the school, district, division, and regional cross-country events has been remarkable. Out of more than 85 runners, she secured an impressive 13th place on the final day. As a testament to her talent, Collette has been chosen as an emergency member for the Victorian Cross-Country team, who will be competing at Nationals next month. We take immense pride in Collette's accomplishments at this elite level of competition. Go Rangeview!

Ringwood Hawks Clinics:

We extend our gratitude to Kyle Daggett and Jonathan Lawton from the Ringwood Hawks for running some fantastic basketball clinics for our Level 3 and 4 students. The clinics proved to be an incredibly enjoyable experience for our students, who had the opportunity to learn new skills and interact with professional basketball players. We would also like to express our appreciation to Eastland and the club for their generous donation of over 30 new basketballs, which will undoubtedly enhance our students' basketball experience. Thank you for your support in promoting the love for sports among our students.

Team Victoria – Boys Netball

Congratulations to Levon in Level 6, who was recently selected as an emergency player for the Under 12's Team Victoria Boys Netball team. The team, comprising 15 players including emergencies from across the state, will represent Victoria at the Nationals in Perth during Term 3. This is an incredibly impressive honor, and we are immensely proud of Levon for achieving this accomplishment.
