General Information

Mufti Day

Next Friday 30th June 2023 we will be celebrating NAIDOC Week with a Mufti Day. Students are invited to come to school in NAIDOC colours - red, yellow, black, blue, white and/or green. Students are to wear sensible shoes and need to bring a hat.

Primary School Chess Competition

On Tuesday 13th June, Vincent, Bailey, Ri, Amelia and Jenny ventured to Tamworth Public School to participate in the Primary Schools Chess Competition. Vincent, Bailey, Ri and Amelia competed in the 'Rookies' section with all the team members playing exceptional chess, winning each of their individual games and being awarded overall winners of this section. Jenny joined a team with students from Tamworth Public School; she played thoughtful and dogged games which saw her also winning each of her games.

The students displayed great sportsmanship and were great ambassadors for our school. We wish to thank Mrs Maureen McNeill for preparing the students and accompanying them on the day.

Hair

Student's hair should be neat and tidy. Patterns shaved into hair, dyed hair, 'rats tails', 'horsey', undercuts and mullets are not permitted at school. Children with long hair should wear it tied up off their shoulders in a pony tail or braid and only school-coloured (Navy, gold/yellow) ribbons or bows are to be worn in their hair.

Uniform

All students should now be wearing their full winter uniform including a tie. We are still seeing many jumpers and jackets in our lost property. It is impossible to return these items if they are not labelled. Your assistance is labelling all uniforms is greatly appreciated.

Students Absences

Please remember that all absences must be explained within 7 days of your child being away. You will receive an automated SMS message at 10.00am on the day to remind you to explain the absence on the Parent Compass Portal
