As promised, the big reveal has taken place last Tuesday in the College yard for all to see. The Le Mans style race car has been built over the last year by our Year12 Certificate II Engineering Pathways students. The fibreglass shell of the race car has been under wraps (so to speak) for the past few weeks while we waited for the uniquely designed Marist Wrap to be completed and installed by Procloud Creative. We have been looking forward to showing it to the student body and now to the whole Marist Community. This reveal is a timely event that worked in well with the Creative Industries week at Marist College. The students are very proud of their work and they also look forward to competing at Lakeside Raceway against 20 other schools in Term 4.
A very special thank you must go to Mr Adrian Gray for driving this amazing program and taking it to the next level. Also to his class for their dedication to this real life automotive engineering marvel. As always, we would like to thank our wonderful sponsors, ProCloud Creative, Bridgeman, Workshop 28, Harts Paints and Thermal Edge Coating for their generous support.
