Year 10

In our elective Wonderful and Diverse beliefs, we learn about a variety of different religions. One of the religions we’ve been studying is Buddhism. We decided to go and visit the Quang Minh Temple in Braybrook, so that we can have a better understanding of a Buddhist sacred space. We all really enjoyed the temple and were very grateful for our tour around the Temple. We were all amazed at how beautiful the temple was and the things we learnt about the temple and the religion. We heard about some of the history of the temple and how it was built, along with the facts behind the icons inside the temple. The giant gold Buddha was impressive! It was fun to be able to go out and see the Buddhist sacred space and learn about it while being there!  Nikita Martinez
