10 minutes with…. 

Kiara Mammoliti

Kiara Mammoliti is an inspiring College Leader in Year 10. She tells us a little more about herself … in 10 minutes.

1. Tell us a little about your life outside of school? Eg. Family, hobbies. Passions
   In my family there is my mother, father and my little sister Liana. My hobbies include reading, drawing, listening to music and just spending time with my loved ones and friends. My passions in life are acting and musicals.
    
2. What do you like most about being a student at Marian College?
   Things I like here at Marian are the clubs as they are fun and cool, and everyone can be themselves by choosing one that interests them.
    
3. Who inspires you:
   My teachers and friends inspire me at school as they bring me joy and make my day happy. Someone who inspires me in Australia is Margot Robbie as she’s an amazing person and actress and I hope to be like her one day.
    
4. What are the biggest challenges facing teenage girls today?
   Something that I’ve always been told is to always try your best and never give up even when things get rough.
    
5. What advice would you give to students at Marian College?
   My favourite food is my Nonna’s cooking because her food is the best. My favourite drinks are lemonade and chai latte. (yum)
    
6. Favourite food & drink?
   Avocado, goats cheese and tomato on sourdough accompanied with an iced latte with oat milk 
    
7. Favourite holiday destination?
   My favourite holiday destination is Thailand as it’s a beautiful place.
    
8. Favourite TV show & Movie?
   My favourite movies are 10 things I Hate About You and Captain America: Civil War. One of my favourite TV shows is How I Met Your Mother.
    
9. What are your dreams for the future?
   My dream for the future is to hopefully become a teacher or an actress.
    
10.  Which 2 people in history would you like to invite to a dinner party?
    The first person who I would want to sit down with at a dinner party is Stan Lee, because he's my all-time hero and I look up to him. The second person is my Nonno who sadly passed away not long ago, and I miss him so much because he has always been there for me.
