Welcome to Term 3

I am excited to welcome everyone to Term 3 with the completion of the sensory path. Last week the final stages of the sensory path was placed down. As you enter the gates you are welcomed to our school with a 'Welcome to Rolling Hills' sign on the ground. Then you can wiggle and wind your way from the front entrance to the quad.

We also have a numbered dragon for students to hop, step or jump on as they make there way past the William Barak Centre (OSHC building). Then to add some fun activities for students to participate in we also have a dart board and a snakes and ladders board to play on. We have supplied a few bean bags for the dart board and a plastic dice to use when playing snakes and ladders.

Additional to these we have added dots at the front entrance to hop, step or jump on as you enter at the front of the school and colourful paint splats as you enter the school at the back entrance.

On the walkway beside the rainbow playground you will also find some indigenous artwork on the ground to walk along and hop on the animal footprints.

It was fantastic to see the students eyes light up when they saw the installers arrive to place the sensory path to the ground. Late last year, the students were given the opportunity to vote for what they wanted to be included in the sensory path. Now they can enjoy these activities knowing that they have had some input.
