Principal's Report
Winding up a semester is a necessarily busy time and I wish to compliment and thank staff and parents for the work they have done to make sure our students had the best opportunity possible to produce their best work. Our students also deserve compliments and thanks for the way they have approached this time.
This year's theme of 'courage' has once again been demonstrated by our students over the past few weeks as they have pushed themselves and stepped out of their comfort zones in many areas.
We have witnessed our Year 10 and 11 students sit their first exams, our senior students sit the GAT and next week the Year 10s will head off on work experience. We know events like these can create some anxiety, particularly when we are tired at the end of term but I hope all students will finish the semester with a sense of pride and gratitude for the learning opportunities provided by the College, and the efforts made by themselves, by their parents and/or guardians on their behalf, and by all staff.
This term we had the privilege of hosting our 2024 Year 7 students and their families for their enrolment interviews. This is another courageous and exciting step for these students as they commence their journey into secondary school and we certainly look forward to officially welcoming them next year. A huge thank you to our Registrar, Brianna James for coordinating the interviews, and to staff and families on their attendance.
With best wishes for a relaxing and rejuvenating holiday break.
"But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
God Bless.
