Hi my name is Cameron and I have been on School Council for the past 8 yrs. My son finished in 2021 and was a Vice Captain and now my daughter is currently in yr 6 and also a school Vice Captain.
Our family has had a strong connection with CSPS for over 38 yrs. With both my sister and myself having attended CSPS as well as 3 cousins,1 nephew and 2 nieces and 4 other relatives who are currently enrolled in CSPS.
I joined the School Council as I really wanted to make a difference and help get the school in a better place than when I started , I feel over the past 8 yrs the school has grown and changed for the better not only in it’s Building and Grounds but also it’s Teaching.
I have had some great memories in School Council my favourite would be pointing out the hidden time capsule that was planted when I was here in the 80s and making sure it was kept intact and highlighted within the new building works.
I would highly encourage people to consider joining School Council in the future.
School Council productively leads consultation with the community through meetings, surveys and informally.
