ABOUT ME

I am an IT/Technical Project Manager with over 18 years of experience. We are fairly new to Australia having moved here in mid-2017 after spending majority of our life in USA and a bit in India, Austria and Ireland. I have worked with major corporations and have also co-founded two start-ups. I live with my wife Aruna and two kids Sharan (Year 10) and Pranaya in Berwick.

I have been actively involved in the community and have held various voluntary roles such as School Council Member for Primary school in Atlanta, Citizen Auxiliary Police with Johns Creek PD, Assistant Scout Master in Boy Scouts of America and Junior Coordinator in Berwick Cricket Club.

I am an avid traveller, photographer and a Cricket Australia Certified Coach. I love working with children and have volunteered in many initiatives for children in various areas through the above mentioned roles.

As someone with such diverse global experience/interests, I would love to contribute to the initiatives in this wonderful school and students.

LISA MCLELLAN

ABOUT ME

My name is Lisa McLellan and I am a new parent at JMSS with our son Bryce, starting year 10 this year.

Our family is thrilled to finally be part of the JMSS community and excited about all of the opportunities that will bring.

For the past 12 months I have been working in the space of "Governance and Risk" with the Salvation Army.

Prior to this, I worked in the the Victorian Department of Education for seven years, the last three of these years I was a School Business Manager.

I would really appreciate the opportunity to be involved with, and contribute to the ongoing success of JMSS, as a member of the School Council.

I look forward to meeting many of you over the coming months and years.

ABOUT ME

I have a son, Joseph, in Year 11 at JMSS, and another son at Balwyn High School.

I have a PhD in biochemistry, an MBA, and a Masters degree in Company Law. Now retired, I have

worked in a number of roles: molecular biology and applied vaccine research, infrastructure

financing, management of contract disputes, and social policy.

I am an active member of the JMSS Parents and Friends Association and I would like to contribute

my skills and experience to the JMSS Council. I am very impressed by the school and what it offers

students, and I want to contribute to help keep it a great place for both students and staff.
