Dear Parents and Students,

Battle of the Bands:

Term 3 concludes on Friday 20th September. As in previous years, the end of this school term was celebrated with the Battle of the Bands event.  The whole school community enjoyed this celebration and many outstanding talents were showcased. My congratulations to all organisers and performers of this fantastic event.

My special congratulations and thanks to the following staff and students for their work in organising this big event:

Staff: Mr Satoshi Sanada, Mr Ben Delves, Mr Sean Symth and Mr Peter Palankay.

Student Leaders:  Tony Gu (Music Captain), Kian Ang, Caleb Watson, Teagan Taylor, Angad Singh, Ashley Kok, Sascha Shang, Victoria Pham, Bingmo Li and Angelica Giaquinta.

Wishing you a safe and happy holiday:

As we enter the holidays may we look for a brief respite from the hectic pace of the last 10  weeks.  Term 3 had been a very busy time for both the staff and students.

So I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you (our students) for your commitment to your studies.  For the year 12 students, I would also like to commend you for your effort in your preparation for the October Tests that will take place in the second week of the school holidays.

I would like to remind our students that learning is not just about obtaining an excellent numerical score from your assessment. It is about continuous improvement, meaning that you learn from your mistakes and seek to improve.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our staff.  Our staff is outstanding in their level of commitment and dedication.  Most days I find teachers staying back - long after school hours coaching students in their studies, and supporting students in events such as in debating competitions, music practice and in sports.

Have a great and safe holiday.
