Class of 2018

1 Year Reunion

Our first reunion was held just five months after our graduation in 2018. In so many ways, it feels as though we haven’t seen our classmates for years.

So much change has come about with many of us heading off to study, enter the workforce or travel. Coming together again has really shown us how different everything is after high school and what a big leap it is to step into the outside world.

At the same time, though, it was like we never left. It doesn’t seem to feel like such a long time apart when you see your colleagues and fall into a conversation instantly or when you can still have a good chat to your teachers about the stresses of VCE. So, in many ways, we’re very privileged to have been able to make so many incredible friendships and connections throughout our time at Kilbreda. This was truly demonstrated at our reunion by the ever-present and loud chatter amongst everyone. Then, there was the added excitement of going up the Tower again – always a classic and welcomed tradition.

It’s been so great to hear everyone’s adventures since graduation and it really has instilled a sense of gratitude and pride in Kilbreda for shaping us into the empowered people we are today.

We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to come together and celebrate our achievements since walking out of the brick walls and green gates. Thank you to the Past Pupils’ Network Committee for supporting the continuation of the Kilbreda spirit; we look forward to the next opportunity to reunite!

Until then, best of luck with all the future endeavours to the graduating Class of 2018.
