DUKE OF EDINBURGH

Duke of Ed Camp

On Tuesday 1 May, the Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh students went to the Cathedral Ranges for the expedition component of their award.

The students were introduced to camping, trangia cooking and bush walking.

This camp was a journey-based adventure with the purpose of gaining valuable outdoor skills and knowledge to equip them for life and future outdoor endeavours.

I would like to thank all staff and students for an enjoyable week.

Outdoor Education & Physical Education

On Tuesday 1 May, my class and I went to the Cathedral Ranges for a 4 day camping and hiking trip as part of our Duke Ed Award Program.

I had an amazing time with my friends and it was an experience I know I’ll remember forever.
