IMPORTANT EXAM INFORMATION

• Students must be in FULL SCHOOL UNIFORM to complete exams.
• If students are absent on the day of an exam they will need to see the Coordinators to organise a catch up exam.
• Any students with clashes or other issues with their exams will need to see the Coordinators.
• Students can leave immediately after their last exam for the day.
• STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LEAVE THE SCHOOL BETWEEN EXAMS AND THEN RETURN.

Good luck and best wishes to Emily Woodward (Year 9) , Chelsea Johns, Emma Clarke and Dee Dees Cooper (Year 8) and who are competing  in the National Cheer & Dance Championships on the Gold Coast, from November 23 to 25.

This is the highpoint of Championships in Australia, with over 1500 teams and more than 12,000 athletes competing over 3 days.

IMPORTANT EXAM INFORMATION

• Students must be in full school uniform.  
• Students are expected to arrive at school by 8.3 0 am.
• Students are to REMAIN at school for the entire day.
• Calculators will not be provided.  It is an expectation that students have their own calculator.
• Students will not be able to use an iPad as a calculator.
• Students must bring their student Compass id card. 
• Students absent on this day, will need to see the Middle School Coordinators to arrange a catch up exam - date to be confirmed.

Lilydale High School is pleased to invite Year 10 students and parents and guardians to participate in the Year 11 Presentation Ball.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to present themselves to the School Community in a formal setting.

To ensure your child has a place, please pay your full payment $340 by Friday 30 November 2019, (no payment – no participation).  Payment is to be made on Compass or at the Main Office.

2019 Year 10 Central Australia Camp

As part of the Year 10 program we are offering students the opportunity to go on a 9 Day Camp to Central Australia.

On Wednesday, an email was sent to Year 9 parents/guardians and students  advising the below information;

Camp 1

Monday 29 April to Tuesday 7 May, 2019

Camp 2 

Wednesday 1 May to Thursday 9 May, 2019

COST: $1,500.00 

The cost INCLUDES transport (coach, airfare), camping and entrance fees and most meals (Coach & Air Itinerary Brochure to follow shortly).

The cost DOES NOT INCLUDE optional sightseeing, spending money or optional school camp jumper.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Included in the COST is travel insurance through VMIA Risk Management and Insurance. This has been arranged for the Department of Education and Training Victorian Government School Students. Please read the insurance policy below.

Parents and Guardians are also welcome to take out their own travel insurance for their son/daughter, if you feel you need additional cover.

ACCOMMODATION 

Camping in tents provided by the tour company.

PAYMENT

To secure a place on the camp, the following payments are required to be paid on Compass OR at the General Office by the due dates;

1st Payment - $300 Friday 7 December, 2018

2nd Payment - $600 Friday 15 February, 2019

3rd Payment - $600 Friday 29 March, 2019

In addition, once deposit is paid to the tour company, payments can only be refunded if another student fills the vacated position on the camp.

Unapproved Absences

In an effort to finalise all unapproved absences for 2018, we require parents/guardians to please log on to Compass and approve absences that your child may have .

If you need any assistance, please don’t hesitate to call  Lauren Kelso in the Middle  School Office and she will approve the absences for you.
