Brekkie Club

The Brekkie Club is a new ‘Initiative’ at Marian Catholic College. The Cultural Liaison Officer is promoting punctuality in attendance, healthy heating, and supporting students with positive learning behaviours.

From an education perspective

Studies indicated that a healthy breakfast positively influences student health and academic achievement.

From a health Perspective

Breakfast provides the ideal opportunity to begin the day of eating bread, fruits, other cereals, and vegetables. Providing fruits at a breakfast club is a good opportunity for children to eat more.

To help our MCC Brekkie Club develop, we would like to gain support from our broader school community to ensure the  sustainability of this important programme.  If you are interested in being a sponsor of this great program,  please contact me on the details noted below to discuss how you would like to sponsor our Brekkie Club.  In return for your sponsorship your business logo and details will be displayed in our Cultural Community page of our fortnightly newsletter. This week’s Brekkie Club has been sponsored by Vaccari’s East Griffith Bakery.
