Dear Parents

It was an absolute pleasure to see all our Year 4’s participate in the musical, ‘Mystery at Magpie Manor’ in Roncalli Hall on Tuesday night.

Each and every student is to be applauded on their weekly commitment of time, energy and dedication they have given to create something so very special for us all to enjoy. Congratulations to all our fabulous stars for bringing the story alive with great skill and enthusiasm.

A very special thank you to Mrs Morell for the incredible amount of time, talent and care that she has shared with these talented students over so many months. A special mention to Ms O’Connor, Miss Nish, Ms Allen and Miss Joyce for their assistance and generosity of time during the preparation of this production.

A big thank you to the Year 4 parents for all their wonderful work with the costumes and make-up – the students looked amazing on the big stage.

Congratulations to all students from Years 3-6 who participated in our Interhouse Athletics Carnival and to Loreto who won the carnival.

Special thanks to Mr Alderman for coordinating this event and to Karen Tighe for her wonderful commentary throughout the day.

Many thanks to all parents for making time in your busy lives to attend.

At today’s assembly we were entertained by our Pre Primary children and they did a fabulous job teaching us all about the Solar System!

YEAR 2 ART GALLERY EXCURSION

On Monday the Year 2 classes headed off on an exciting excursion to explore the Art Gallery of Western Australia. The children enjoyed a tour of the Gallery and looked at art works by various Western Australian artists. They then went onto the roof of the Art Gallery, where they sketched the amazing view of the Perth city sky line and also participated in a hands on art work shop. The Year 2’s enjoyed this wonderful experience!
