OSHC Information

OSHC and COVID-19

The team have been busy cleaning our room each day and ensuring the children have plenty of space to move around. We are continuing to run and engaging program for all of the children in this challenging climate.

We have stopped the team from writing observation of the children currently to make sure we had plenty of time to do through cleaning each session.

We have also stopped the electronic sign-in/out for parents and an educator will sign-in/out your children each session.

This is to eliminate the contact on the IPad and enable families to drop children off to an educator and not need to enter the room completely.

We are consistently reflecting on our practices and how we can preform routines differently to minimise health concerns for everyone.

APRIL VACATION CARE PROGRAM UP-DATE

Due to the Covid-19 virus we have had to cancel all excursions and incursions in-line with the Government requirements. This is to protect the safety of all the children, their families and our OSHC Team.

We will be having in-house activities for these days, which we will plan with the children that attend each day.

At this point, the program will go ahead unless the Government directs us that we need to close the service.

Please get your forms into us by Monday 23rd March so we are able to address bookings and the program’s needs. We do need to be mindful that the program needs to be financially viable to run.

OSHC CANCELLATION INFORMATION

We have had a few cancellations this week and I just wanted to remind families of our cancellation policy to allow families to make informed choices.

Fees are still charged for casual cancellation of bookings. This may be for a day or a period.

If you would like to permanently cancel your booking, we do require a 2 weeks notification of this change and reinstating of bookings will be dependent on available places.

If we are required to close the OSHC or Vacation Care program by the government then all bookings will be deleted and no fees will be charged.

Please see policy below.

We understand this is a very unusual time and while we want to support families as much as we can, we are also aware we need to support our educators and their wages.

We have a great team who are dedicated to our program, children and families.

We have put many extra practices in place to support the protection the health of our children, families and educators.

Thanks for your support in this
