U18’s West Gala Day 

Thursday 18th March 2021

Bruce Comben Reserve, Altona Meadows.

Game Report:

Our students were at school very early and eager to participate in the Rugby League 9 competition.  They did unbelievably well and represented the school with honour.  I was particularly impressed in how they focussed and worked as a team in defence and attack.   We remained undefeated in the games we played including against Melton, Braybrook and Point Cook.

The potential and talents within our rugby league players is remarkable and I acknowledge the commitment each and every player has demonstrated to setting high goals and in training to achieve them.   

Many leaders emerged and were able to inspire their fellow team members with very strong tackles, confidence, speed and stamina.  Our captains, (Paki) Seu Sinapati and Anthony Savelio proved their leadership qualities with decision-making, courage and accountability.   

All of our players were outstanding and showed off their strength by performing textbook and solid tackles, awesome athletic and aerobic power. 

Our team’s ability to prevail over challenges was very inspiring and was the take away learning. 

We appreciate the support of families and acknowledge Nicole Jowett for her administration support at school to get us to the event.
