2021 Premiers’ Reading Challenge is now open!
Please encourage your children to get involved in the 2021 Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge, which has now opened and will continue until September 17th.
The Challenge is a fun way for the students to keep a record of their reading and to push themselves to read as many books as they can.
The students have a target to read or experience a mix of free choice and challenge books. Prep to Year 2 students are challenged to read 30 books. Students from Year 3 up are challenged to read 15 books.
BPS students are now registered for the challenge and it is easy to login to the PRC application from home. Classroom teachers will send home the Premiers’ Reading Challenge login details in the coming week.

Welcome back to Term 2. Its great to have the canteen back up and running this term and thank you to all the parents who have put their name down on the canteen roster. We are kicking off next week with a flash sale of Anzac cookies on Monday 26th April. This will be recess only and until the cookies run out!
On Wednesday 28th April we are introducing our new sandwich suppliers with a Sandwich & Smoothie Day (BYO plastic cup). Qkr! Orders only and closes on Monday 26th at 9am so don’t miss out. We are sure this is a great addition and hope to work closely with them on a number of Special Food Days, which the kids love, so your support would be greatly appreciated.
