Week 9 @ Kharisma Kids

Wow, week 9 has already come and gone. It’s getting close to the school holidays and were excited to run the Vacation Care over the 9 days.

We use an app called Xplor Home where parents can book casual days on, see finances, check statements, update bank details and sign in / out their child. We have had very positive feedback from parents who are saying it is easy to use.

Payments are now done via direct debit.

This week at Before and After School care we continued our fine motor skills practice and following verbal and visual instructions. Over the 5 days the children made a Jungle scene.

Day 1 We made the jungle background.

(We reused the boxes the schools photocopy paper comes in.)

Day 2 We made the Jungle tree and paper-chain snake.

(We reused cardboard tubes provided to us by the Donnison family which are a waste product from industry.)

Day 3 We had a catch up day where those children who may have not attended or not finished could catch up.

Day 4 The children cut out jungle animals and blu-tacked them to their Jungle Scene

Day 5 The last catch up day to complete the activity.
