School Cross Country 

School Cross Country Monday 26th April 2021

We will hold our Cross Country run at school this year instead of Cussen Park.  We have mapped out a track around the school that will be run once by Foundation, Year 1 and 2 (600m), twice by Year 3 and 4 (1200m), and three times by Year 5 and 6 (1800m).  

Students can wear a top in their house colour (red, blue or yellow) or sports uniform on the day.

Parents are welcome to come and watch the running events but please follow the notes below so that we are able to ensure our COVID Safe Plan is enacted and the students have a clear run on the track without getting blocked by parents and caregivers entering and exiting the area.

Important times and details for Parents and Caregivers coming to watch Cross Country:

1. Enter the school via the back gate on Hunter Street.  Please do not enter the school via any of the gates or foyer area along Hogan Street.
2. Please do not enter school grounds until the school recess music starts at 11:35am.
3. Please make sure you have entered the school by 11:45am so that the track is clear.
4. Follow the signs to a designated Parent area and stay around this area during the running events.
5. Use the toilets at the Mercy Centre.

Events will be run in the following order:

1.  Year 2 (11:45am)

2.  Year 1

3.  Foundation

4.  Year 3

5.  Year 4

6.  Year 5

7.  Year 6
