Uniforms

It's that time of year when the weather is a bit all over the place.  Some days it feels like winter is here.  Other days it feels like summer is still hanging on.  Students may continue to wear either the summer or winter uniform until the end of week 2 (one more week).  After that, we'll all be in winter uniform.  Sports uniform should be worn on Wednesdays and Fridays.

It's also that time of year when it's often very chilly in the morning but, by recess time, the jumper or jacket has been stripped off.  Students are often leaving these lying around in the yard and forgetting about them.  Our teachers do their best to reunite uniform items with the right students but it would be so much easier if every item was properly labeled.  Please check and make sure your child's items are named - especially jumpers and jackets.  Parents will know how expensive these are to replace.   

Remember that unforms shouldn't be mixed.  The maroon jumper may be worn with summer uniform but please don't wear other summer and winter uniform items at the same time.  Items from the sports uniform should not be worn with either the summer or winter uniform.  Students wearing the wrong uniform items may be placed on detention - particularly repeat offenders.

Also, please check and make sure that you do not have anyone else's uniform item at home.  It is easy to pick up the wrong jumper or jacket by mistake without realising.  The rightful owners would be so thankful to get it back. Once again, having everything clearly named will make this so much easier.
